Martha Washington once said, “I am determined to be cheerful and happy in whatever situation I may find myself. For I have learned that the greater part of our misery or unhappiness is determined not by our circumstance but by our disposition.”
Good food for thought, don’t you think? So often we let ourselves become the affect of others, when we should really listen to that inner voice. We control our own destiny. We can choose to be happy or sad…
Here is to happy days! Hugs and be well!

So true. When I was first ill with Fibromyalgia I was miserable and angry. I was not doing myself any good and was not good to be around. When I realized how unhappy I was I decided to change my attitude. What a difference it made. I was still very ill but not an unreasonable person to deal with. You have and are doing wonderful. Join with me in keeping our chins up and our spirits high….Love ya.
Let’s go do some attitude adjusting for me – eh? 🙂 Happy Thanksgiving Patti! Love you – J

Thinking about you this Thanksgiving Day. Sometimes the holidays can be extra hard. Hope you’ve felt better today. We ate our home-prepared turkey meal about 4 pm & it was very good. I’ve been horizontal in bed alot today plus daughter’s visiting mother-in-law has been sitting in my recliner in living room. With 2 grandmothers focusing on our 9-month old grandson, grandpa don’t have a chance. I just wave at him. I know our daughter is glad to have all the help.
I feel bad that you spent so much time in bed…Hugs to you Lynn! How lovely though to have family around you. Yesterday was just me and my husband, a dog, and three cats. This is my family! Hugs again and have a good weekend! I think of you often! J
