The Colors of the Fall
The leaves are rustling in the trees,
Before falling on the ground.
As they spiral making their downward descent,
They fall without a sound.
The colors are so bright and vivid,
It is their last hurrah,
Browns and yellows, oranges and reds,
The last of the fall withdraw.
Scattered on the ground they lay
Their piles are all around,
As they wait for the winter snows to come
Just waiting to be crowned.
